Landscaped garden with gravel patio, wooden bench and black timber fencing in South West London

Our Landscaping Projects

Based in Clapham, Levels Landscapes creates beautiful and practical outdoor spaces for homes across South London. Explore some of our recent garden transformations, including patios, paving, fencing, planting and complete landscape design.

This front garden was redesigned to create a clean, contemporary entrance that complements both the original Victorian home and its modern extension. The layout combines architectural planting with premium materials to deliver a practical, low maintenance space with strong kerb appeal.

Natural limestone steps, decorative white gravel, corten steel planters, bespoke timber screening, and soft planting work together to create a welcoming and balanced design. Every element was carefully selected to add texture, contrast, and year round interest while keeping the space simple to maintain.

The result is a refined front garden that blends traditional character with modern design, enhancing the property's appearance and providing a timeless first impression.

CONTEMPORARY FRONT GARDEN

This bespoke rooftop terrace was designed to transform an unused outdoor space into a sophisticated extension of the home. Warm composite decking, oversized contemporary planters, and frameless glass balustrades create a clean architectural setting while making the most of the surrounding views.

A carefully selected planting scheme introduces texture, movement, and seasonal colour without compromising the minimalist aesthetic. Mature olive trees, evergreen shrubs, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials provide year round interest, privacy, and a calming atmosphere.

The space was completed with bespoke outdoor furniture and carefully considered detailing to create a comfortable setting for relaxing, entertaining, and everyday outdoor living. The result is a modern rooftop garden that combines elegant design, practical functionality, and low maintenance planting for year round enjoyment.

This project focused on creating a striking entrance that enhances the character of this beautiful Victorian home. We installed a bespoke geometric tiled pathway, carefully laid to create a bold focal point while complementing the property's original architecture and rich burgundy front door.

To complete the transformation, we installed premium porcelain paving, refreshed the entrance steps, and introduced contemporary planters with seasonal planting to soften the hard landscaping. The result is a welcoming front garden that combines timeless craftsmanship with clean, modern detailing.

VICTORIAN FRONT GARDEN

This Victorian front garden was carefully redesigned to enhance the property's original character while introducing a clean, contemporary finish. We installed a bespoke Victorian tiled pathway, premium porcelain paving, new brickwork, and a powder coated steel gate to create a timeless entrance.

The finishing touches included statement planters with architectural planting, restoring the property's kerb appeal with a low maintenance design that complements the home's period features.

VICTORIAN ENTRANCE GARDEN

This garden was designed to create a bright, welcoming outdoor space with timeless character. We installed a natural sandstone patio featuring bespoke circular detailing and reclaimed brick edging, complemented by raised brick planting beds to add structure and definition.

The project also included new timber fencing, a handcrafted garden shed with trellis panels, a bespoke timber pergola, and carefully selected planting to provide year-round colour, texture, and privacy. The result is a practical and elegant garden designed for relaxing and outdoor entertaining.

CURVED SANDSTONE GARDEN

This front garden renovation was designed to celebrate the character of a traditional Victorian home while introducing durable, easy to maintain materials for modern living. Every detail was carefully considered to create an entrance that feels elegant, timeless, and welcoming.

The project features handcrafted Victorian style geometric tiles, traditional bullnose step edging, decorative brickwork, and bespoke timber screening that complements the property's original architecture. Decorative gravel and carefully selected planting soften the space while keeping maintenance simple, creating a clean and balanced finish.

By combining heritage craftsmanship with contemporary construction techniques, we created a front garden that enhances the property's kerb appeal and respects its original character. The result is a refined entrance that blends period charm with lasting quality and practical everyday use.

CHECKERBOARD VICTORIAN TILING

Designed to create a seamless connection between the home and the garden, this contemporary outdoor space balances clean architectural lines with soft, natural planting. Large format porcelain paving extends directly from the interior, while floating stepping stones set within decorative gravel create a simple yet striking journey through the garden.

A bespoke brick extension finished in a dark herringbone pattern provides a dramatic backdrop, complemented by carefully selected specimen trees, layered perennial planting, and discreet lighting. The result is a calm, elegant landscape that offers year round interest while remaining practical for everyday family living.

CONTEMPORARY GARDEN

The striking blue front door set the direction for this entrance renovation. We created a bespoke tiled pathway using a blue, black and cream geometric pattern, carefully laid to frame the approach to the house and complement its original period details.

The surrounding area was finished with smooth paving, restored brickwork, traditional iron railings and neatly shaped evergreen planting. The result is a fresh, characterful entrance with a strong sense of colour and detail.

BLUE VICTORIAN FRONT GARDEN
